Mythos Archive is designed around a single idea: your journey through the archive belongs to you. We collect the minimum needed to make that journey work, and we do not sell your data.

What we store

Your reading history, bookmarks, favorites, reflections, and journal entries are stored on your device and synced to your account so they persist across devices. Reflections and journal entries are private to you and are never shown to other readers. If you join the waitlist from our landing page, we store the email address you provide so we can contact you about availability.

Analytics events

We record first-party analytics events (such as app opens and feature usage) to understand product health. When you are signed in, events may be associated with your user id. We do not put email addresses or authentication tokens into analytics payloads.

Push notifications

If you opt in, we may send push notifications about stories, learning reminders, or product updates. You can change notification preferences in the app at any time.

AI processing & TTS voice generation

AI research questions and related prompts are processed on our servers to generate answers and learning guidance. When you listen to narration, we may generate or serve text-to-speech (TTS) audio for myths and related content. These features exist to support exploration of the archive, not to train public models on your private reflections.

Crash reporting

We use crash reporting to keep the app stable. Personal identifiers such as email and auth tokens are scrubbed before diagnostic data is transmitted, and sampling is kept deliberately low.

Your control

You may delete your account and associated synced data at any time, including analytics events tied to your user id. If you have questions, write to us at hello@mythosarchive.com.
